«Verifiche» (ISSN: 0391-4186) is an International biannual, peer-reviewed Journal of Philosophy. The journal, founded by Franco Chiereghin in 1972, has become a point of reference in philosophical research, in Italy and abroad, especially for studies and editions devoted to classical German philosophy and its contemporary interpretations. The journal has been classified as a first class (A) journal by the ANVUR (National Committee for the evaluation of Universities and Research) for Philosophy, namely subdivisions 11/C1, C2, C3, C4, C5.

Verifiche is covered by the following abstracting/indexing services: Web of Science – Core Collection, SJR, Philosopher’s Index, Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie, Eds, Scopus (Arts and Humanities Citation Index), Articoli italiani di periodici accademici (Aida), Scimago, Philosophy Research Index.

The Journal promotes the academic use of multiple languages, and therefore accepts contributions in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

In addition to Verifiche, the editorial board of the Journal constitutes the steering committee of two series: “Pubblicazioni di Verifiche” devoted to philosophical studies , and “Quaderni di Verifiche” including new scientific editions of classic texts of the history of philosophy.
