LA IDEA DEL CONOCER Y SU OPERATIVIDAD EN LA TEORÍA HEGELIANA DEL ESPÍRITU

This study analyzes the chapter ‘The Idea of Cognition’ in Hegel’s Science of Logic to examine the explanatory role of this concept in relation to the philosophy of spirit. It argues that Hegel treats the idea of cognition as the key to explaining spirit within real philosophy and as the starting point for deriving its functions, activities, and cultural forms. Using a hermeneutic approach, the study suggests that Hegel introduces a strong alternative to mechanistic, positivist, and apriorist theories of spirit.
